The Albany Chamber Strings is an amateur orchestra, now in its 33rd year. We meet on Tuesday evenings in the music room at Albany High School, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The school is located at 603 Key Route Blvd. in Albany, California (map). The orchestra operates as a part of the Albany Adult School, which charges a $60 fee for each 10-week quarter. NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME! Auditions are not required of string players, however wind players that wish to join us must have permission of the conductor.

Members will no longer be able to register in class. You can register in person at the Adult School Office (601 San Gabriel in Albany, open weekdays 9 to 4), by mail, or online at the Adult school website: albanyadultschool.org. Credit cards are now accepted. The course title is "Chamber Strings", and the course number is 241200, At the website, click on "online registration" (or just click here).
